This year, even though there have been restrictions, and many things have been cancelled, the high school will still be performing a play, called The Yeoman Home Radio Show, directed by Mr. Jewett. The Yeoman Home Radio Show is a variety show filled with music, short sketches, such as The Lives of Cowboys, Guy Noir, and Ruth Harrison Research Librarian, News from Yeoman High, along with sponsored ads such as Rhubarb Pie Ad, Powdermilk Biscuit Ad, and Society of English Mayors Ad. The show is filled with pre-recorded scenes, voice overs, and live acting. It’s based off of A Prairie Home Companion Radio Show, which was very popular in the 1970s to 2010s. The performances will be on November 12 and 13, at 7:00 PM, and November 14 at 5:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only a certain number of people can come and watch the show live. But, there is still a way you can see the show. There will be a YouTube live stream of the performance, which you can watch from home! If you can’t watch it live or on the stream, the performance will stay on YouTube for anyone to watch. There will also be a pre-recorded podcast.
