Cross Country had a successful and exciting season this year. Out of 28 teams, the girls placed 3rd in the State Finals, with Kayce Rypma and Sheila Witvliet earning All-State awards. For the boys, Zach Hoekstra was All-State, placing 15th, and Chris Jenkins placed 46th out of 254 runners.
Zach Hoekstra, Chris Jenkins, Jodi Jenkins, Olivia Quillan, Sheila Witvliet, and Haley Weesies all earned Individual Academic All-State awards, while the girls’ team received Team Academic All-State. Also, Kayce Rypma was named Fox Motors Prep Athlete of the Week. Congratulations on a great season!
